I've heard lavendar works - kind of in the line of sweet oil your grandma might've used.
Other stuff in my files re: ear infections -
Astragalus
Echinacea
Golden Seal
Nettle
(no info for dosages)
These are the same herbs which work well on sinus infections. The golden seal and Echinacea are
immune system boosters, the Nettle is known to be an antihistimine and the Astragalus seems to have
almost an antibiotic effect on that type of infection.
Mullein flowers and garlic (mix the mullein with garlic oil).
