Can anyone tell me what jewel weed is? I have seen it growing with stinging nettle. I was told it was used to treat poison ivy, oak, sumac, and stinging nettle and insect bites and burns. I was also told it was almost like witch hazel...Can you give me info on both cause I have a lot of it growing... MP~ RedLionGod@AOL.com *** For pictures and more info go to The Jewelweed Pages http://www.altnature.com/jewelweed.htm Jewelweed is a native plant of Eastern North America. It is an effective natural remedy for poison ivy, poison oak, okra spines, stinging nettle, and other irritating plants; as well as bug bites and razor burn. It is also used in folk medicine for acne, heat rash, ringworm and many other skin disorders. It grows almost everywhere poison ivy grows. Catallen ***
