I would like the lip balm recipe. I missed it. I have dried herbs both ways and don't see any difference except drying time. Watch out not to dry the herbs too fast. I have done the baskets for friends before and had great responses. Go for it! I'm sure your friends will love them. I haven't tried to grow herbs during the winter. I do good just to keep the ones I have alive till spring.

Love Potion Lip Balm
1 teaspoon olive oil
1 teaspoon petroleum jelly
2 teaspoons honey
1 teaspoon pure orange extract
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
In a very small sauce pan or pot heat heat oil and jelly untill completely liquefied. Turn off heat, and add cinnamon, and orange extract in a clean container.
