I make rose water by just simply getting spring water from the well of an ancient, blessed well, and adding rose pedals to the water. I allow the rose pedals to sit in the water for a couple of days. The color of the pedals are determined at your discretion.

I use the rose water to make holy water. There are other spells in which the water can be used for. I hope this helps

The way I have made rose water in the past is I use a non-metal pan on the stove. I place in it fresh mountain stream water (I live in Washington so it's somewhat easily obtainable here, you might find something else to your liking) and the petals from one large rose, usually a dark red or pink, but it's up to you. I put the stove on the lowest temperature and let it sit for a while, covered. You may also brew it some what like a tea where you boil the water first and then let the roses steep in the boiled water in a non-metal tea kettle or something.

There are many uses for rose water, I use it for works of magick or simply in my bath for a nice smell. Hope this is helpful to you!

I make my rose water by requesting 5-6 large blooms from the apt complex bush. It is a Peace Roesbush, and about 6 1/2' tall. The petals are those of a glorious sunsrise, pinks into melons, into raging orange. I then shake the petals gently loose from the bloom so as not to bruise them. I place the loose petals in a ceramic potpourri pot, and add about 3/4c of fresh spring water from a waterfall by the abode. I use a tea candle to slowly warm and blend the petals with the water. It does take about 1 to 2 weeks of burning like a potpourri (makes the house smell good!), and adding 1/2c water each evening, but the result is worth it. I then bless it under a full moon, (like tonight's), before using it in ritual or at vespers. The residue that is left at the bottom of the ceramic potpourri pot, I then use as a fragrant when making candles, also carries a lovely rose smell while burning. Waste not, want not.......
