with all this talk of Rose Water, may I inquire as to how to make it? Do you just leave rose petals in water, or is there more to it? also, I have recently obtained a large amount of Ginger Root and have heard it makes a lovely tea. If anyone has a recipe for Ginger Root Tea, please send it to me. And last of all, What is the purpose of White Willow Bark. What are it's magical properties, what is it used in?etc. any information would be very helpful. Thanks! Blessed Be, LilacShade shade247@hotmail.com or shaded@innocent.com ICQ#26223134 *** I have a few questions about Rose Water. How do I go about making my own? What ingredients are needed? How long will it last? I tried to make it once but it didn't turn out and it got thrown out. Are there any other kinds of herbal waters that I could make and what would their uses be? I would also like any info on how I could make my own perfumes and what the ingredients would be for that? If you want you can email me privatly at JMccL53933@aol.com Thank you all for the help. Mp and MM again, Nina =) *** Not sure, but it sounds as if you boiled or burnt it. Simmer it a few hours (I did this about 3-5 hours) and add a bit of water to it when you know the water level is getting lower.--------The petals will turn brown. Did you put it in a container, and then let it cool, and keep it out of sunlight? These things should help a lot. Peacefully, Silver~ *** In the "Olden Days" they used Rose Water as a perfume, and in Magickal terms it is used for love potions, annointing candles, and in the bath for cleansing the aura,-----I made some of my own about 2 years ago, and the longer you keep it (you do keep the petals in the water) the better it smells. Peacefully, Silver~ *** Also you can use it in cooking, they used it allot in Victorian times. BB Katz *** If I remember correctly, rose water is also good for sunburn. Orruall@aol.com *** Can anyone tell me how to make Rose Water? SunWolfe brian@wisdom.zzn.com *** My rose water doesn't get better as it get older. I used purified water and the petals turned brown after a month and it smelled bad. What did I do wrong? Catallen *** I was looking through the cupboards in my kitchen, and came across some rose water. does anyone think that they could explain to me what it is used for? MP and Blessed Be Jael
