Lemon Verbena - this is used for soothing digestive problems, stomach discomfort and
spasms. Again, a tea made from the leaves is your best bet. An aside, if you soak cotton balls
in the tea and put them on your eyes, it reduces puffiness.
Dill seed - this is good for "hiccups, indigestion, stomach cramps, gas and colic." Make an infusion from 1/2 oz. of bruised seeds and 1/2 cup boiling water.

My mom suggests drinking aloe vera gel for ulcers. She has ulcerative colitis (ulcers in her colon) and finds it to be very helpful. Make sure that you get pure aloa vera gel from a health food/natural foods store and don't drink the bright green gunk that is sold in every drug store from here to Antartica for relieving sunburn pain. That stuff has all kinds of other junk in it besides just the pure, gooey gel from the aloe plant.

Use meadowsweet to protect the lining of the stomach. You should avoid it if you're allergic to
aspirin, though. I assume it probably has salicylic acid in it which is the active ingredient in
aspirin.
Marshmallow: make a soothing syrup: "A syrup is a very suitable medium for this mucilaginous plant.
Soak about 5 in. of cleaned, chopped root in 2 cups of water overnight. Add a cup of sugar.
Heat and stir it until it's dissolved. Simmer for 10 minutes. Strain, bottle and store. To
soothe irritation in the gut, take one teaspoonful as needed."
